Description
Dragon Ball Z (ドラゴンボールZ) Based on the work of Akira Toriyama (鳥山明) Babidi – Episode 230 / 00:21:13 Hand-painted celluloid accompanied by the original dogas used in the production of the anime Double-layer celluloid executed in ink and gouache Key frames drawn in graphite and coloured pencils Produced by Toei Animation, 1989–1996, Japan H26 L27 cm Doga mounted Very rare ‘full screen’ cell of Babidi. He is an evil wizard and one of the main antagonists of the Majin Buu arc in the Dragon Ball Z manga and anime. Babidi, a tiny wizard with yellow skin and a sly smile, hardly ever fights: he manipulates. With a simple spell, he leads Vegeta into evil (the famous ‘M’ on his forehead) and seeks to awaken the monster Boo, created by his father Bibidi. These three names come from the magic spell ‘Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo’ from Disney’s Cinderella, a typical Toriyama joke.
