Fist of the North Star - Hokuto no Ken (北斗の拳) Based on the work of Buronson (武論尊) and Tetsuo Hara (原哲夫) Raoh - Episode 66 Hand-drawn layout used in the production of the anime Drawn in graphite and coloured pencils Produced by Toei Animation, 1984–1987, Japan H24.7 × L26.7 cm The eldest of the four Hokuto brothers, Raoh proclaims himself Ken-Oh, ‘King of the Fist’. Refusing to allow his younger brother Kenshirō to inherit the art of their master, he kills the latter, mounts his black horse Kokuoh and sets out to subjugate the world by force, with no regard for his subjects. An absolute tyrant, yet one whose honour remains intact: he respects his adversaries, and the only one who has ever made him feel fear is the giant Fudō. His famous last words declare that he has no regrets. He is one of the most beloved ‘great villains’ in the history of manga.
