Pierre Flechy, attributed to
A pair of straight corner cabinets with undulating fronts, made of veneered wood and opening via two panels. The oak frame is decorated with engraved marquetry, comprising pods, flowering stems and foliage in green-stained boxwood and holly, set against a background of curled satin wood surrounded by fillet and amaranth. The interior features two shelves. The side panels are straight and rounded. They rest on three small, arched feet. Lock plates and lock casings set in chiselled and gilded bronze. Top in Aleppo breccia marble with a corbin motif.
