Description
A pair of curved side tables in finely carved and gilded oak, adorned with rich Rocaille-style decoration. The undulating moulding, set against a latticework background, features a large openwork shell flanked by acanthus foliage. The legs, with their double inverted curves, are embellished with palmettes, rosettes, acanthus scrolls and a godron frieze. They are joined by a crossbar featuring a large openwork shell and rest on small square feet. Top in ‘Grand Antique’ breccia marble with a corbin motif.
