Correns personal collection” Provenance: from the artist’s studio collection Evolving from a figurative style strongly influenced by the 19th-century masters and their perfect compositions to an abstract style heavily influenced by the 1950s (De Staël, Jackson Pollock), he combines action painting with colourful figuration, ranging from landscapes to female nudes.
