GIOVANNI KOROMPAY (1904-1988) "Chiaro di luna", 1960 Oil on panel, signed lower right, countersigned on the back and authenticated with labels. Size: 40 x 50 cm Accompanied by a copy of a document certifying the work on the back of a photograph. Exhibition in 1972 at the Galleria "Nuovo Spazio", Folgaria. - An Italian painter born in Venice, Giovanni Korompay and his brother Francesco joined the Futurists and founded the "Venezuelan Futurist Group". After the Second World War, he moved to Bologna where, with Enrico Prampolini, he organised the Mostra nazionale della pittura e scultura futuriste (National Exhibition of Futurist Painting and Sculpture).
