Louis XVI period console table
Rectangular in shape with deep quarter-round sides, made of mahogany, mahogany veneer and mottled mahogany with ebony fillet inlays, the oak frame opening at the waist with a drawer and resting on four stylised fluted column feet ending in toupie legs. The top is in turquoise blue marble with an old crack and is encircled by a gilded brass openwork gallery. Ornamentation in bronze and gilt brass. The mirror on the brace is missing.
