GUERIDON EMPIRE CIRCA 1810
A circular mahogany and veneered gueridon with three scrolled legs joined by a brace centred on an ormolu sculpture of a flute-playing faun. Ornamented with ormolu and chased acanthus leaves, rosettes and foliage, the legs ending in claw feet. Toped with Lourdes lumachelle marble. A few small chips to the veneer, wear and scratches.
