SAINT PETERSBURG, RUSSIA 18th CENTURY Pair of large candelabra Chased bronze, gilded with black patina and burnished gold, with three arms of light supported by a young cupid with outstretched wings and delicate features, dressed in a loincloth, holding a candelabra topped by a torch and resting on a sphere decorated with scales placed on a high pedestal carved with friezes and acanthus leaves on a square base. Russian work, Saint Petersburg circa 1790. Good condition. Dimensions: h. 53.5 cm
