Oxidised copper alloy. Height 15.5 cm
Shiva is represented here seated in lalitasana
as the saviour of the world who has swallowed
the terrible poison of Time (kalakuta), which
which threatened to destroy all creation.
In his four hands he holds the axe, the antelope,
