COPPER AND PAINTED ENAMEL PLATE, China, Qing dynasty, first half of the 18th century Rectangular, one side centrally decorated with a Christian religious scene, depicting a white-haired figure preaching, surrounded by figures in an interior, three figures observing the scene from a gallery above, the other side decorated with pavilions and a pagoda in a mountain and lake landscape, the rim enamelled with geometric motifs on both sides; craquelure Dimensions: 19.5 × 12.4 cm (7 ¾ × 5 in.) Provenance: Collection of the Comtesse du Monceau, Brussels A painted enamel 'European-subject' plaque, China, Qing dynasty, first half of 18th century ???????? ????????????? ??? ?????????????
