Elegant pair of bronze and cloisonné enamel vases
Mounted on high circular legs, the quadrangular sides with crenellated openings, each displaying a rich polychrome enamel decoration on a turquoise background of landscapes in circular medallions, the background decorated with bats in clouds, flanked by wide ormolu handles in the form of chimera heads with rings. Resting on adapted wooden bases.

Provenance: French family collection. Supposedly brought back from Asia in the mid-20th century by a close family friend known by the first name of Marcel.
