CHINA, Jiaqing period, 19th century Large bronze and cloisonné enamel vase Baluster-shaped, mounted on a circular foot, the body in the form of a chalice with a marked shoulder, surmounted by a long neck flared at the opening, presenting a rich decoration in polychrome enamels on a turquoise background of a decoration in the archaizing taste, taotie masks, banana leaves and stylised kui dragon friezes. Flanked at the neck by two handles in the form of stylised dragons. Resting on an ormolu base and mounted as a lamp. Height (vase): 68 cm Height (with frame): 80 cm
