Set of four snuffboxes
Including one in silhouette agate with relief carved decoration of a fisherman, one in smoky quartz, one baluster in pink quartz, one in white glass with polychrome enamel decoration of lotus flowers Qianlong mark on the neck and gu yue xuan partially erased under the base.
Height: between 5.5 and 7.5 cm

Provenance: French family collection. Supposedly brought back from Asia in the mid-twentieth century by a family relative known as Marcel. The presence of a book dedicated by Michel Beurdeley to Marcel (1962) testifies to his interest in the arts of the Far East. The collection has been passed down to the current owners.
