INDIA, Pala period, 12th century Fragmentary group in black stone Representing the deity standing in a dynamic posture, one leg bent and the other outstretched, on an architectural base composed of zoomorphic figures moving between columns in relief. The divinity has three heads, one zoomorphic and two anthropomorphic, several arms and is adorned with numerous jewels. She stands above a circular mandorla decorated with stylised dots and flames. Engraved inscriptions on the back. Height: 11.5 cm Width: 8.5 cm (The upper right-hand part is missing)
