CHINA, Qianlong mark
A small porcelain wall vase, mounted on a triangular base, with a domed half-panel surmounted by a wide neck flared at the opening, decorated in famille rose enamels with lotus flowers and peonies, the base, shoulder and neck highlighted with decorative friezes showing stylised banana leaves and ruyi. The back enamelled white and decorated with fleurons in red enamel, the neck underlined by a gold border. A four-character Qianlong mark in iron red under the base.
