CHINA, 19th century A "Hu" shaped porcelain vase, standing on a short foot, with a wide circular body topped by a short straight neck flanked by two handles in the shape of deer heads. The whole bowl is decorated in cobalt blue on a white background with a herd of deer under pine trees, known as the "hundred deer" design. An apocryphal Yongzheng four-character mark in cobalt blue under the base. With adapted wooden base. Height : 31 cm (Wear, chip to a deer ear) Provenance: - Italian collection
