CHINA, Republic period
A porcelain bottle vase, mounted on a short foot, the pear-shaped body surmounted by a tubular neck slightly flared at the opening, decorated in polychrome enamels with a pair of pigeons among branches of flowering peonies, the neck decorated with friezes of foliage and stylized leaves. An apocryphal Qianlong mark in cobalt blue with four characters stamped under the base.
