CHINA, Qing Dynasty, circa 1820 Elegant mandarin necklace, consisting of a series of circular orange cornelian beads, alternating with turquoise beads and four jadeite elements, one of which takes the form of a double gourd, including two pendants with filigree mounts. There are also a few jadeite and amethyst elements to be reattached. Length: approximately 140 cm (Small chips and missing pieces) Provenance: - Collection from the South of France. With a copy of the certificate of purchase from the Charlotte Horstmann & Gerald Godfrey Ltd gallery in Hong Kong, dated 7 May 1983.
