JAPAN, 18th-19th century A tripod bronze incense burner, the globular body resting on three short feet, with two lateral handles in the form of branches. The body is richly decorated in relief with a phoenix among foliage, beneath a frieze of stylised petals, the neck highlighted by a border of Greek motifs. Mark "加賀田河内守" (Kagata Kawachi no Kami) on the bottom. Height : 23 cm Diameter : 45 cm Provenance : - Collection from the South of France
