CHINA and VIETNAM, 19th century
Set of six "Bleu de Hué" porcelain pieces, comprising :
- two circular dishes, one decorated with dragons in medallions, the other with a lotus branch, "Ngoan Ngoc" marks under the bases, metal strapping around the rim of one (Diameter: 16 and 17.5 cm, short crack on one, small chips around the rim)
- Three large circular porcelain bowls, one decorated with dragon and carp among the waves, one with the four mythical animals and one decorated with flowering branches, both with metal hoops around the rim, "Noi Phu" marks under the bases (Height: 9 cm, Diameter: 17 and 18.5 cm, numerous cracks)
- a circular pot decorated with lotus branches flanked by four zoomorphic handles (Height: 17 cm, Diameter: 23 cm, star-shaped cracks inside, a chip on the rim)
