VIETNAM, late 19th-early 20th century Set of two silver cylindrical betel boxes with chased and repoussé decoration of dragons chasing the sacred pearl in the clouds. Height: 11 and 7.5 cm Diameter: 10.5 and 12 cm Weight: 363 and 221.7 g approx. Provenance: - Brought back by Jacques COGNE (1924-2023), non-commissioned officer in the 1st Marine Artillery Regiment seconded to the Hanoi meteorological service during the Indochina War, then by descent. - Collection from the South of France
