VIENTAM, Reign of Khai Dinh, early 20th century
Rare gold Tien coin mounted in decoration. The coin is circular in shape, bearing on one side the characters '啟定通寶' (Khải Định thông bảo) around a sun in the central part, the other side bearing the characters '二儀' (Nhị nghi) and two fiery pearls and clouds on the other side.
