VIETNAM, Trinh Vân (born 1917)
Elegant lacquer tray, quadrangular shape, the central part with a polychrome decoration representing a landscape of rice fields in North Vietnam. Signed "Trinh Van" and dated 1943 lower right.

The artist Trinh Van was a student in the 11th year of the painting section of the Indochina School of Fine Arts in Hanoi, between 1936 and 1941.
