Of the so-called ‘phoenix tail’ shape, with a curved foot, a bulging shoulder and surmounted by a very long neck that flares at the opening, decorated in green-family enamels with birds amongst lotus flowers and phoenixes amongst peony branches within quadrangular cartouches on the body, the background filled with floral motifs and butterflies. A spurious six-character Chenghua mark within a double blue ring beneath the foot.
