Travel chest in burgautée lacquer
Octagonal in shape, featuring a burgautée lacquer decoration depicting two scholars in a landscape on the main panel, with a floral design on the borders. The inside of the lid bears the characters “上品熙香” (Shàngpǐn xī xiāng) in gold. The metal fitting is in the shape of a dragon.
