‘Dao’-type sabre
Comprising a curved blade bearing the inscription ‘内务府’ on its lower part, the weathered wooden hilt terminating in a gilt brass pommel ring finely decorated with scrollwork; the brass guard and scabbard fittings feature the same stylised scrollwork; the wooden scabbard is covered in shagreen, partially dyed green.
