Provenance: A private Parisian collection assembled by Mr and Mrs X, the Chief Tax Collector posted at the French Consulate-General in Saigon in the 1960s. The works were acquired in Vietnam, some directly from the artists, who were friends of the family. The collection has remained in the family to this day.
