Provenance: A private Parisian collection assembled by Mr and Mrs X, the Paymaster General posted to the French Consulate-General in Saigon in the 1960s. The works were acquired in Vietnam, some of them directly from the artists, who were friends of the family. The collection has remained in the family to this day.
