The coat of arms of the LE MAIRE family (Geneva/Lausanne) bore "Azure a chevron Or between in chief two mullets and in base a crescent Argent, on a chief Or three mullets Gules". Based on the initials A.S.L.M. engraved on either side of the coat of arms and the 18th century date, this could be Samuel Sigismond Gabriel François Amédée LE MAIRE (1733-1788), born in Lausanne.
