DURAN Charles-Émile-Auguste dit CAROLUS-DURAND (1837-1917) attributed to : "Bust of Marie-Anne, the artist's child". Rare studio plaster bearing a monogram (some chips, wear, stains). Circa 1875. Height 43 cm. A similar example of the same bust in bronze is kept in a private collection and featured in the "Portrait d'enfants de Carolus-Durand" exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Saintes in 2003 (Tribune de l'Art).
