Rifled barrel, slightly blunderbussed at the muzzle, stamped with thunder. Sight stripe to muzzle and thunder. Lock stamped "B2" and signed "Manufre à Versailles". Brass rimmed light, round bodied hammer. Brass fittings with "D" stamped sling rings. Walnut stock. Non-model iron ramrod with brass head.
