Light cavalry sabre model 1822. Leather-covered handle with filigree. Die-cut brass mounting, three-point hilt. Flat-backed curved blade engraved "Manufre Rle de Châtellerault Mars 1845", hollow sides and hallmarked at the heel. Scabbard in lightened iron plate with a strap and guard number. Length: 110 cm With line and leather strap. B.E. According to a modern label, this sabre came from General Mollard.
