Horn handle with spiral decoration. Cross with two quillons ending in tassels. Body knot with anchor. Blade with fully engraved, gilded and blued middle edge with remains of inscriptions in a banner and the U.S. eagle.
Gilt brass scabbard with plain decoration and chappe knob on one side and engraved foliage on the reverse. Palmette buttress.
