Horn pommel with filigree. Gilded brass mount, single-bar guard and quillon ending in a shell. Ink-engraved crossguard on a flag-shaped pommel adorned with two silver stars. Counter-crossguard with a pump motif bearing the owner’s monogram ‘L M’.
Straight blade with a plain heel, signed ‘Prével 8 rue de Richelieu Paris’.
Black patent leather scabbard, with two gilt brass fittings decorated with reeds and foliage.
