Camille FAURÉ (1874 - 1956) - LIMOGES
A copperware vase, the "Jeanne" shape from the artist's reference, with a spherical body and a small, narrow neck encircled by a metal ring on a metal heel. Decorated in translucent polychrome enamels with anemones, daisies and field flowers on an iridescent background (shock to the enamel, cracks, oxidation).
Signed, dated and justified 1/8 in black in the decoration, with a label signed Fauré from the Chambre Syndicale des Maîtres Émailleurs Limousins on the reverse.
