Circular bowl with contoured edges in double frosted and vitrified glass with engraved and enamelled decoration of brown poplar branches, mounted on a silver pedestal (950 thousandths), with chased and engraved decoration of foliage, engraved in the centre: "Offered by the Duc de Montpensier / Saïgon le 14 Janvier 1912".
Signed "Daum Nancy #", circa 1900-1910.

Ferdinand d'Orléans, Duc de Montpensier, born 9 September 1884 at Château d'Eu, died 30 January 1924 at Château de Randan, great-grandson of the last French king Louis-Philippe I.
