HISTORY: Paul Jouve injured his wrist in December 1969 and had to learn to write with his left hand whilst waiting to regain the dexterity of his right hand. It was not until the end of 1970 that he regained his dexterity and the ability to draw again. Our drawing was probably produced shortly before this accident and signed afterwards, which explains the shaky signature on this work.
