Large, sturdy folio, first edition of this text conceived, written and illustrated by Salvador Dalí in Port Lligat, Paris and New York in 1971–1972, illustrated with 11 original drypoint engravings with photogravure, some in colour and gold, others forming a fold-out pop-up, one as a polyptych accompanied by a mirror, each justified and signed in pencil by the artist and bearing the bailiff’s stamp on the reverse, as well as a composition in moulded plastic.
