Like her elder sister Gabriella, Michelle paints the country and stories of her paternal grandmother, Long Rose Nungala. She takes a topographical view of the land. She depicts yams, berries, fruits and other vegetables that are gathered by the women of the tribe, usually by digging in the bush.
