For these works, a 1:1 scale 3D-printed mould was produced by Stratoconception using a medical scan of the artist Alexandre Nicolas’s skull.
The works are then cast, before being hand-painted and decorated.
The idea is to depict people who take risks, put themselves in danger and, in a sense, play with death – such as Formula 1 drivers, superheroes and secret agents.
