Salvador DALI (1904-1989). "Alchimie des Philosophes" - Paris, Editions Art et Valeur, 1976. IMPORTANT PORTFOLIO CASE with two flaps in the form of two adjoining volumes in Havana leather, parchment and metal, with a resin wheel. Case in the form of 2 volumes joined together with a moving wheel and paper pulp composition on one side. Sold without the 10 engravings originally included. Edition of 275 copies. Signed "Dali" on one of the inside pages. Dimensions: 83 x 64 x 20 cm. Produced by Yves and Ariane Lancell Gauguet, l'Alchimie des philosophes brings together ancient alchemical texts and manuscripts original translations into French and in English. The philosophies of China, Indian, Greek, Arabic, Hebrew and Western Western philosophies are represented texts.
