DAUM – Nancy. A baluster-shaped vase in double-walled glass; the orange-hued body, with shades of brownish-purple marbling, is covered with a brown-black surface layer etched away with acid to reveal a rich, stylised Art Deco geometric design: a frieze of godrons and volutes in the upper section, a cartouche with a stylised star on the neck, and long fringes of black disc-shaped pendants depicting bunches of grapes and vine leaves.
