Description
Lucien Charles Édouard Alliot (1877–1967). (After). A sculpted group depicting two antelopes leaping together over a tuft of stylised vegetation with broad, angular fronds, rendered as upright tufts. The two animals, with their curved, ringed horns, are captured in the same moment of movement, their forelegs bent and their hind legs stretched out behind them. The group rests on a terrace decorated with vegetation and finished in a green patina, which in turn sits on a rectangular, bevelled plinth of black marble. Signed on the terrace. H_ 42 cm W_ 75 cm
