Marseille-style bedspread, second half of the 18th century, made of cream-coloured cotton fabric with a piqué and vermiculated weave, decorated with scrolls of flowers across the centre and rows of plants along the border. Ruffle in Peking-style muslin, embroidered with flowering branches in chain stitch (assembled from square pieces, with a few minor imperfections), 168 x 146 cm.
