Jewellery box Made of stained and carved wood, metal and navy blue velvet. Designed to resemble a miniature piece of furniture, complete with a drawer, this small box opens via a lid, revealing two square compartments which swivel to provide access to the large compartment in the lower section. The lid is decorated with a rooster and a hen pecking at grain, carved in the round. The sides of the box are carved and engraved with floral and foliage motifs. It stands on four legs.
