Made of wood, leather and sinew. Rectangular in shape, with a recessed lid, it is constructed from pieces of leather covering the frame and held together by sinew.
On the front, a richly detailed openwork design features birds and fantastical four-legged animals. The bottom and side edges of this panel are highlighted by a frieze of palmettes.
