Description
Set of two jugs
In polychrome slipware.
The first is modelled on an ‘Alsacienne’, wearing her large bow, the colours of which have been changed to blue, white and red, with a republican cockade. She wears a brooch in the shape of a dove holding a scroll in its beak inscribed with the words: ‘France et Patrie’. Number 808 and signature visible beneath the base.

The second jug is modelled on the figure of a Reservist, seated on a barrel and holding a quart in his hand. The soldier is wearing his full uniform and the pack on his back serves as a handle. The barrel bears the inscription: ‘Long live the reduction in service periods’.
