SAUXEMESNIL – 19TH CENTURY Anthropomorphic jug known as the ‘Marquis’ Red earthenware with a honey-coloured glaze. Shaped like a nobleman dressed in 18th-century fashion, wearing a tricorn hat. Very prominent tubular arms holding a bottle and a glass. Two rows of buttons and pastillage epaulettes decorated with two medallions.
