FAVARGER CHOCOLATE - Lithographed sheet metal circa 1940-50 signed "R.Grosjean". Good condition, embossed illustration and lettering, very good colours, traces of protective paper. 34 x 24 cm. Printed by "imp.B.Sirven". In 1826, confectioner Jacques Foulquier set up a chocolate factory in the heart of Geneva (Switzerland). Watchmaker Jean-Samuel Favarger married one of Foulquier's daughters and took over production, buying a four-wheel mill in Versoix in 1875. (Source: favarger.com)
